The campaign follows a massive caravan traveling across Faerûn toward distant eastern lands filled with ruins, monsters, ancient secrets, and dangerous roads. This page explains what kind of campaign it is, how the sessions work, and how you can take part if you are interested. ◎ Beginner-Friendly Game Beginners are very welcome. You do not need to know the rules perfectly before joining. I can explain the rules during the game, help with your character, and make sure you can play comfortably even if this is your first time playing Dungeons & Dragons. Pregenerated characters — ready-made characters prepared in advance — are available, so you can start playing without needing to prepare anything. Experienced players are also welcome. ◎ What is an Open Table? An Open Table campaign allows players to join sessions depending on their schedule. You do not need to attend every game to participate in the story. If you cannot join every session, that is completely fine. You can join when your schedule allows. ◎ What is West Marches? West Marches is a style of campaign where different groups of players explore the same shared world. Each session is a separate expedition or mission, while the world and caravan continue to evolve over time. This format makes it easier for different players to join different sessions, while still being part of the same ongoing campaign. ◎ Scenario The story begins in Waterdeep. A massive caravan is preparing to travel east along the legendary Golden Way toward the distant land of Kuo Te’ Lung. You are adventurers hired to protect the caravan. Each of you has your own reason for taking this job: money, safety, the chance to travel east, the need to leave something behind, or simply the hope of finding a better future. The caravan itself is much larger than your group. Alongside the guards and mercenaries, it carries merchants, pilgrims, scholars, wanderers, refugees, and many others following the road for their own reasons. Along the road, the caravan will encounter monsters, ruined settlements, political conflicts, strange magic, hidden dangers, and ancient mysteries buried beneath the world. As the journey continues, it becomes increasingly clear that the caravan may be connected to something far larger and more dangerous than anyone expected. ◎ Character Creation Character Level: Level 3 If you would like to use a pregenerated character, you can start playing immediately. If you would like to create your own character, please contact me in advance. We can discuss your character, backstory, character sheet, and how they can fit into the caravan’s story. ◎ Players ・3–6 players ・The game will run with 3 or more players ◎ Rules & Gameplay ・Using Dungeons & Dragons 2024 rules / 5.5e ・Combat with miniatures on a grid map ・Diagonal movement counts as 1 square ・Roleplay, exploration, and combat-focused adventures Some third-party content may be allowed, including materials from books such as The Griffon’s Saddlebag or Grim Hollow. Please contact me in advance if you would like to use third-party material. ◎ Time ・Meet-up Time: 19:00 ・Start Time: 19:30 Each session is designed like a standalone adventure, but players can continue using the same characters across multiple sessions. ◎ What to Bring You do not need to bring anything.
